The Sherman M4A3E8 was Verio's first 1:8 R/C metal tank, and a very successful tank model. It is constructed with high quality alloy and copper which makes this tank extremely strong and durable, just like the real thing!  The track is extremely well engineered and the realistically spring suspension and heavy duty gear box make this vehicle behave off road like its 1:1 brother.   The tank overcomes obstacles and any variety of terrain, just like the original full size model.  Indeed, after painting the tank looks like a display model and when filmed against a scaled terrain, it can be mistaken for the real size real thing.  Only a one hundred and fifty have been sold world wide.

　

Victor Ma, the Verio proprietor and designer, recalls that when he was a young boy he had a Japanese 1:16 R/C model Sherman which looked very nice, but when he took it "off road" in his garden, two of the wheels immediately broke off and were lying in the grass, not being easy to find due to the camouflage colour. This experience inspired Victor to design and build a true replica, capable of performing off road just like the real full size tank.  The heavy duty construction makes the model heavy enough to represent the scaled weight to the original. Not only does this make the tank strong and durable, but it also enables the suspension to work properly and the track to make impressions in soft terrain just like the real tank. The FRP and plastic models just cannot compare.
