While the Schwimmwagen was for the ordinary soldiers the big Trippel Schwimmwagen were reserved for important SS-officers. The car was built in 1942 and 100 times rarer than a VW-Schwimmwagen. It has 4WD and a retractable prop drive. Speed is a bit faster than the Schwimmwagen, but it has reverse in water and can carry up to 16 people. However you got lots of space inside. It is powered by a 6-cylindre Opel Blitz engine. |
